DESCRIPTION:The Parker’s House Foundation is proud to host an upcoming Essentials for Elders Senior Care Kit Distribution at Ivy Park Assisted Living and Memory Care.  Through this event\, we will be assembling and distributing thoughtfully curated care kits filled with both practical essentials and meaningful comforts.  Each kit is created to support everyday needs while also uplifting the spirit. \nWhat This Event is About \nThe Essentials for Elders Drive was created to remind seniors that they are valued\, remembered\, and deeply loved.  Many older adults face seasons of isolation or limited resources.  This distribution is our way of showing up with compassion and tangible support.  Beyond providing items\, this event is centered on presence – taking time to connect\, encourage\, and honor the lives and legacies of our elders. \nWhat We Will Be Doing \n\nDelivering carefully assembled senior care kits\nSharing poems from the Parker’s House Foundation\nSpending meaningful time with residents through conversation and encouragement\nDistributing scripture-based and inspirational resources\nOffering warmth items such as handmade scarves and lap blankets\nProviding hygiene and personal care essentials\n\nEach care kit may include items such as: \n\nPuzzle books and small activity materials\nScripture tumblers and biblical encouragement cards\nPersonal care and hygiene products\nSocks\, beanies\, scarves\, and comfort items\nSmall plants and uplifting keepsakes\n\nOut of respect for privacy\, resident photos will not be taken during distribution.  Our focus remains on creating a respectful and meaningful experience for each individual served. \nThis event is one small but powerful way we continue our commitment to serving seniors with dignity\, faith\, and love.
