Essential for Elders Care Kit Distribution @ Ivy Park Assisted Living

The Parker’s House Foundation is proud to host an upcoming Essentials for Elders Senior Care Kit Distribution at Ivy Park Assisted Living and Memory Care.  Through this event, we will be assembling and distributing thoughtfully curated care kits filled with both practical essentials and meaningful comforts.  Each kit is created to support everyday needs while also uplifting the spirit.

What This Event is About

The Essentials for Elders Drive was created to remind seniors that they are valued, remembered, and deeply loved.  Many older adults face seasons of isolation or limited resources.  This distribution is our way of showing up with compassion and tangible support.  Beyond providing items, this event is centered on presence – taking time to connect, encourage, and honor the lives and legacies of our elders.

What We Will Be Doing

• Delivering carefully assembled senior care kits
• Sharing poems from the Parker’s House Foundation
• Spending meaningful time with residents through conversation and encouragement
• Distributing scripture-based and inspirational resources
• Offering warmth items such as handmade scarves and lap blankets
• Providing hygiene and personal care essentials

Each care kit may include items such as:

• Puzzle books and small activity materials
• Scripture tumblers and biblical encouragement cards
• Personal care and hygiene products
• Socks, beanies, scarves, and comfort items
• Small plants and uplifting keepsakes

Out of respect for privacy, resident photos will not be taken during distribution.  Our focus remains on creating a respectful and meaningful experience for each individual served.

This event is one small but powerful way we continue our commitment to serving seniors with dignity, faith, and love.
